How to restore factory firmware?

In case the remote is unable to boot up, restoring the factory firmware could help. All data will be erased and the original factory firmware restored. In order to do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Power off the remote.
  2. Turn on the remote while pressing and holding the following button(s) at the same time:
    • Remote Two: volume up and down buttons (located on the left side).
    • Remote 3: record button (circle button, next to mute).
  3. Keep holding these buttons until you see Recovery on the screen.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to restore the factory firmware.

Please note that this process erases all data and restores the firmware uploaded during manufacturing. This could be an older version, than what might be currently available.

After the factory firmware restore, please perform a software update first before restoring a backup of your data. Older firmware versions might not be compatible with backups from newer versions.
